In our previous article on building sustainability, we mainly developed the significant health and wellness benefits of sustainable construction based on measurements and in-depth surveys of building occupants. We presented what Health and Wellness in buildings is and its benefits. But what other benefits might these practices have for investors? After all, what is the additional cost for a sustainable construction? The latest report on this subject confirms that when there is a development process that integrates environmental strategies with a rational management program from the beginning of the building’s life cycle, the benefits in saving energy, water, precious resources and money are great. Green buildings do not necessarily cost more, particularly when cost, management and environmental strategies are integrated into building development from the initial design phase.
