As a Founding Member of the Hellenic Sustainable Building Council, a recognized member of the World Council, we strongly feel the responsibility to go beyond the narrow limits of the Guidelines and our goal is to set standards in areas such as:
  • Sewage and waste management. Recycling of packaging materials and stationery.
  • Limiting emissions from the company’s vehicles and production infrastructure.
  • Complete removal of all organic solvents from the production processes aiming at absolute quality assurance in working conditions and direct protection of the environment from the burden of their residues.
  • Rational use of energy.
  • Bioclimatic orientation of the facilities – with the ultimate goal of 100% “green buildings” to meet future housing needs.
Wanting to eliminate social inequality and discrimination based on nationality, gender and economic status, we participate in voluntary actions by offering our services non-profit to NGOs and Government Agencies.
Since 2009, the Icon Group has been voluntarily assisting and meeting the need for the maintenance of the facilities of the NGO “THE CHILD’S SMILE” in the region of Attica. We offer free of charge, but with the same quality of services for which we stand out. Technical support and maintenance of mechanical installations in 16 houses.
Since 2015, Icon Group participates as a founding member of the non-profit organization SBC Greece Hellenic Council for Sustainable Development in actions that promote sustainability in construction. Icon Group CEO Dimitris Managoudis serves as Executive Director of BoD of SBC Greece.
In 2014, the Icon Group, realizing the problems of the Greek Society in matters of education and specifically the poor hygiene conditions in the school complexes, decided to offer Voluntary Mechanical and Architectural Study Services to the 15th Primary School of Nicaea for the reconstruction of the children’s WC and the kindergarten WC as well as the creation of storage areas. This study was delivered complete to the School Committee.
Since 2016, through the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies, we have participated in the actions of European bodies for the utilization and research of new technologies with the aim of minimizing pollutant emissions worldwide.
Our strength is our people. A mutual relationship of love and trust. A two-way relationship of inspiration and creativity.
Always having as a basic principle the development and evolution of the services provided, knowing that these come from its human resources, we take care of the continuous and quality training of our people.
During the last five years, numerous trainings have been carried out for all employees either at group level/seminars (eg Effective Negotiations, Personal Protection Measures, Technologies in Autonomous Geothermal Greenhouses) or at individual level/certifications (eg EUREM Energy Managers, Training and certification in the thermographic inspection of facilities, Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases, Energy Inspector etc.)
