ICON GROUP’s New HQ Undergoes DGNB Indoor Air Quality Verification process by DEKRA
ICON GROUP has reached a key milestone in its journey toward DGNB certification, as DEKRA conducted the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Verification Measurements at the company’s new sustainable headquarters.
The verification process follows the DGNB Criterion SOC 1.2 – Indoor Air Quality and includes sampling and analysis of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Formaldehyde (HCHO) to ensure compliance with DGNB’s strict emission thresholds — among the most demanding internationally for workplaces (e.g., TVOC < 1,000 µg/m³, HCHO < 60 µg/m³).
All measurements are performed in accordance with ISO 16000-3, ISO 16000-6, ISO 16000-9, and ISO 16000-11 standards, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and scientific integrity throughout the evaluation.
This verification represents a decisive step in the DGNB certification process and reaffirms ICON GROUP’s commitment to constructing buildings that prioritize both environmental sustainability and human well-being.
As a company built on innovation, integrity, and excellence, ICON GROUP continues to set new standards in sustainable infrastructure — delivering high-performance spaces that combine technological advancement with uncompromising indoor environmental quality.
“DGNB demands courage and transparency — there’s no place to hide. We are proud to undergo this verification process with confidence in the quality of materials used, construction processes, and our people.”
